I went to Marina Square last Friday to customize my earrings, finally.. Will be paying a cost of $40 - $60 for the materials and workmanship.
Shan, the designer from the shop told me that she will be securing about 2 to 3 crystals on each side of the tear drop crystal using super glue so that it can create the triangular shape with the 3 strings of crystals. I was a little concerned bcos the last thing I want is to have my earrings “collapsing” and scattered all over the place during the ceremony. But Shan assured me that super glue should be able to do the trick although it will have a small patch of dried up glue at a closer look.
I left all my crystals there and will be picking up the finished artwork on 24th this month! Can’t wait to see them!
Last Saturday, we faithfully stayed at home to complete the ROM tasks that have been lying around for the longest time. Done up our invite cards and got her cousin to come over to his place to take a look at it (feel so paiseh about it) cos she will be helping us to print them since she’s working in a printing company.
She suggested that we print 100pcs which we initially only wanted 70pcs as she said the size of our card is just A6. Everything seems fine and good to go except for the choice of material for the card. We are considering 200gsm so that it will be easy for us to fold into half.
We did a testing on the small canvas and paint marker that we bought from Bras Basah that day. Apparently, the paint marker really works wonder on the canvas!
Made our way down to Bras Basah again and bought one more green, gold and silver paint marker for our guest boards. We tried to hunt for decors for the boards but found nothing suitable except for some stickers. We are just left with these decors and ribbons for the invite card to buy.
